The Duchess of Sussex has dropped the first teaser for her upcoming festive special on Netflix, and she packs on the PDA with Prince Harry in the Christmassy clip

The Duchess of Sussex is all loved-up with her husband Prince Harry in a glossy new trailer for her upcoming Christmas show, released the same night Princess Kate and Prince William are out at a major event.

Meghan has shared the first sneak-peek of her festive Netflix special, releasing on 3 December, on Instagram. The short trailer for With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration features a tender moment between the Sussexes as they share a quick smooch in the kitchen. Harry is seen tucking into some food before they lock lips. Throughout the video, the Duchess is seen crafting, decorating and even shopping for Christmas trees – swapping her high-end red carpet garbs for more laid-back, casual outfits.

Meghan also gushes about “embracing traditions and making new ones,” hinting at preparations she’s making with her young children Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4. Reflecting on what the season means to her, she adds: “It’s about finding time to connect with the people we love”. It may be a difficult listen for King Charles, who has not seen Archie for five years. Heartbreakingly, he has also only met Lilibet once.

While cooking up a storm, the former actress also says: “Being a hostess or a host, it’s about making people feel comfortable.” Restaurateur Will Guidara then chimes in and adds “You can do things that make people feel a little bit…” before they both say “more seen”.

The glitzy new video has released on the same night that Kate and William are set to attend the Royal Variety Show. Harry, 40, barely appeared in the first series of Meghan’s lifestyle show and wasn’t in the second, but his romantic cameo in December’s Christmas special hints that we could see more of him this time around.

It comes as Meghan has been hit with a major snub from Netflix, as they are opening a new commercial store but reportedly won’t be stocking her As Ever products. The streaming giant is opening a new Netflix House in Dallas, Texas, where they will stock products and merchandise featured on some of their most successful programmes.

And despite the Duchess having two seasons of her lifestyle show With Love, Meghan with the streamer – as well as the upcoming holiday special – the store seemingly won’t be stocking her product range. The store, opening on December 11, offers guests interactive experiences, games and themed food and drinks for hit shows such as Stranger Things and Squid Game.
