People can’t believe their eyes after finding the ‘real life’ version of Snoopy – as one pup named Bayley constantly gets compared to the iconic cartoon character
While some dogs are compared to celebrities, or even their own owners, one pup has captured the hearts of millions of people as he looks just like the iconic cartoon character Snoopy.
Ever since the world first met Snoopy, from Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts comic book strip in 1950, it quickly became one of the most beloved dogs in the world. But the fictional pup now seems to have become real – as a pooch named Bayley has captured the hearts of 446,000 followers on Instagram.
With his round little face, black button nose, and soft, fluffy fur, he looks exactly like the kids character. And it’s safe to say the internet is completely obsessed!
Bayley is a four-year-old mini sheepadoodle, which is a cross between a miniature poodle and an Old English Sheepdog. Even though they are different breeds to Snoopy the Beagle, there’s no doubting the resemblance.
Both parent breeds are highly intelligent, so Sheepadoodles are quick learners and generally easy to train. They’re known for being affectionate, gentle, and social – great with families, children, and other pets.
The dogs also tend to be playful and loyal, forming strong bonds with their owners that makes them extra loveable.
Bayley became famous in 2023 after Doodle Dogs Club shared her photo to Instagram. Since then, more and more people keep finding the pup’s personal Instagram account.
His doting owners often share adorable pics of Bayley in various settings. And unsurprisingly, fans are quick to sing their praises for just how cute the canine really is.
To make things even more adorable, Bayley got to mean “real” Snoopy on August 10, 2023. The pair connected at California’s Great America theme park for what would have been the character’s 73rd birthday.
In the video posted on Bayley’s Instagram, a human-sized Snoopy character is seen holding Bayley’s lead. The two ‘dogs’ posed together for a photo – and the resemblance is uncanny.
Replying to pictures of the internet-famous sheepadoodle, one commenter gushed: “Not to be dramatic, but this is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.”
Another agreed, writing: “The cutest little Snoopy ever.” Meanwhile, a third added: “Okay, we may be witnessing the most perfect dog ever!”
