The investigation continues
Six people have been arrested after someone was injured during a robbery on Clapham Common. Police were called at about 6pm yesterday (Sunday, November 23) by a person claiming someone had been hurt during the robbery.
Police scoured the area and found the victim nearby. Six people were arrested – the investigation continues. A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “We were called at around 6pm on Sunday, November 23, by a third-party to report that a person had been injured during a robbery on Clapham Common.
“Officers responded and carried out a search of the area. A victim was later located nearby.
“He was safe and well and didn’t require any medical treatment. Six people were arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.48pm on Sunday, November 23, to reports of a stabbing at the junction of Long Road and Clapham Common South Side, Clapham. We sent resources including ambulance crews and an incident response officer.
“We arrived on scene but no patients were found in the area and we were stood down.”
