Some hurled racist abuse in public, while others kept their opinions hidden in private messages
Pop stars, police officers, and even a distant relative of the Royal Family have all found themselves in the courts for racism in recent years.
London’s diversity is a great strength, but there are still some pretty distasteful people whose views are stuck in the past. Whether they hurled abuse at their victims or shared vile messages on social media, they have all been called out in the courts.
King Charles’ cousin is on the run after a tirade using the N-word slur in McDonalds, Blue singer Lee Ryan said ‘I want your chocolate children’ to an air hostess, and six Met Police officers were dragged to court over their WhatsApp group.
You’ll find more details of the abhorrent behaviour below.
