A woman has been left heartbroken after discovering her husband has been searching for a hook-up just 38 days after she gave birth to their son and social media users are urging her to divorce him
A woman has been left devastated after discovering her husband was seeking a casual encounter just 38 days after she gave birth to their son. She revealed that she found her husband using Reddit to arrange a date with another woman while she was at home caring for their newborn.
In her distress, she turned to social media for advice on how to deal with the situation, confessing she is battling postnatal depression and feels lost. She said: “I gave birth to my beautiful son who is the spitting image of my husband. It was a natural birth, we worked extremely well as a team and by all means, it was a fast birth, especially for a first-time mum.”
“My husband had tried to meet up with someone before. We worked through that and I thought everything was fine until I found him on a local hookup Reddit [thread] offering to meet up with a woman ‘seeking dad [for sexual activity]’ yesterday.” To add insult to injury, he posted this on her birthday, making her feel even worse.
She continued: “Yesterday was my birthday. I’ve had a gut feeling for a while now that something isn’t right. By all accounts, I bounced back after pregnancy, and although my stomach is a bit darker with some stretch marks, only around my belly button piercings, I thought I looked great for just having had a baby! “, reports the Mirror US.

“Yesterday we ‘broke the seal’ in a sense much to my husband’s pleasure. I wanted to wait longer to ensure my stitches were healed but with some examination, I figured it would be OK. Also, I was sure he was just about to bust at the seams. Prior to this, we had begun to explore each other in different ways which was going well.”
“He messaged people on my birthday to set up hookups after I gave him my body on my birthday after he made a negative comment about my belly button stretch marks and suggested I get cosmetic surgery for it.”

In desperation, she added: “This is my last straw. I don’t even know what to do.” Replying to her post, one user responded: “Cheated in the past, one month postpartum, cheating again this time on your birthday with someone seeking out a dad to cheat on their wife. There is absolutely no redeeming this. Divorce him.”
Another user advised: “You have to end it. This man will never be faithful to you. This man will never appreciate you. He will always drag you down and only care about himself. You could look like Beyonce and have sex with him 24/7 and he would still be looking for his next hook-up. I’m so sorry, I know he’s the father of your baby but he’s for the streets.”
Sharing her concerns, another mum warned: “Your stitches may have looked fine but there is a large wound in your uterus that leaves you open to infection, and your cervix is not yet closed, which is why care providers want you to wait six weeks postpartum before putting anything in your vagina. If your husband is whoring around then that certainly increases the risk.”
