Daniel Anjorin, 14, was tragically killed in an attack in Hainault. Police were called to the Thurlow Gardens area on Tuesday, May 30, at around 7am.

A van crashed into a house in the area, injuring a man. The same man was then attacked, followed shortly after by another in a neighbouring property.

Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo, 36, has since been charged with Daniel’s murder. Daniel was walking to school when he was attacked.

Police arrived on the scene and tasered the suspect. He then attacked and injured two officers, before being tasered again and arrested.

The area has been hit hard by the tragedy, with a vigil being held for Daniel this morning (Sunday, May 5). Locals laid flowers for Daniel, and signed a card intended for his family.

MyLondon reporter Adam Toms attended the vigil, at which dozens of people could be seen paying their respects. Further photos show a huge number of tributes laid for the young boy.
