Prince Harry flew from the United States to the United Kingdom earlier this week for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, with the Duke even chatting with fans after the event
Prince Harry flew from the United States to the United Kingdom earlier this week, with what he said to a fan in public now unveiled.
The Duke of Sussex came back to his former country of residence at the start of the week for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. And last night, the father-of-two greeted fans after a service held at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Fans could be heard shouting out to the Duke, with many saying “we love you, Harry”. The Duke was seemingly touched by the sentiment and even stayed with the fans for a while, shaking their hands and conversing with them.

Cracking a joke with one lady who was on her honeymoon, Prince Harry said: “You didn’t get married in St Paul’s, though?”.
This isn’t the first time Prince Harry has chatted with fans and onlookers this week, because on Wednesday morning, before the service at St Paul’s, while walking towards the car, Prince Harry waved and said “hello” to crowds of people.
The Duke was then asked if he was “happy to be home”, to which he simply chuckled and dodged the question by saying: “Nice to see you.”
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror about Harry’s cryptic and telling reply to the question of whether or not he was happy to be home, body language Judi James has weighed in with her thoughts. “Despite his complicated history with the press, Harry walks past them here in what can only be described as high spirits, greeting them with the kind of smile that suggests he’s greeting fans or old friends,” she began.
She later noted: “But when he is asked ‘are you happy to be home?’ the smile remains in place but the response he performs would be described as a wry, cynical chuckle, suggesting he is darkly tickled to think anyone would ask him that question under the circumstances.”
This comes after a spokesperson for the Duke revealed that Harry and his father, King Charles III, would not be meeting this week after speculation. The spokesperson said: “It, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme. The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
