Us Brits love to bag a deal, but one bloke recently got people laughing with his ranking of yellow label products. Apparently you can pick up some tasty meals for as little as 1p

There’s nothing like bagging a bargain, especially when it comes to food.

Us Brits love a tasty treat, and it can taste even better when it’s cheap. Perhaps that’s why yellow label items have become so popular in recent years.

We’ve all spotted them in supermarkets. Sometimes our favourite shops reduce items to clear, so they don’t have to throw them away, and you can make some great savings on them.

Now – to excite food fans even more – a man has created a TikTok account to rank them all. Known as @YellowStickerGuy, he goes around rating some of the cheapest products out there, and people are loving it.

He recently created a clip called “Cheap Sarnie Galore”, and people have been left in stitches. This is mostly because he managed to bag a sarnie for as little as 1p.

In the clip you can see sandwiches coming in at various prices from over £1 to 44p. One person even managed to bag six wraps for 60p.

But it was the meal reduced down to one pence that caught many people’s attention, and they simply can’t stop laughing. They thought it was hilarious it had been reduced to so little.

In the comments, one person wrote: “One pence – I’m crying.” Another wrote: “1p orange sticker… madness.” A third replied: “Oh but how because they only ever reduce stuff by like 10p at mine?”

Meanwhile, others were quick to share stories about bargains they’ve found too. It’s fair to say, some people have been pretty lucky.

One person wrote: “I just got a 24- of Coke Zero for £2.50 in Tesco. They expire in June.” One more chimed in with: “Once found the exact same halloumi wrap but it was reduced to 90p. “Ate it before I took a pic, sorry,” they wrote.

If you’re not familiar with yellow stickers in supermarkets, they are used to highlight discounted food items. More often than not, they are seen on fresh foods that have short use-by dates.

They get marked up with a yellow sticker to show the price has been slashed. People often look out for them as an easy way to save money on their food shops.
