Brits can treat themselves to a free ice cream tomorrow as one high street dessert chain is giving them away for free all day tomorrow.
Creams Cafe will be handing out a free scoop of gelato or sorbet – which would usually set you back £2.50 – at each of its over 90 locations across England on Friday, May 17. There’s no voucher or code needed, you can just turn up and claim your free scoop in a tub, although there could potentially be queues with this offer so it may take a little longer to grab a scoop than normal.
It’s one free scoop per person and you can choose from any of its 20 plus flavours of sorbet and gelato, depending on the stock of your local Creams Cafe. You can also not be limited to which flavour you can choose and have the option of a range including banoffee, coconut, bubblegum, Oreo, coffee arabica, pistachio, oreo, white chocolate and more.
The offer comes as the dessert chain celebrates its “sweet 16 birthday”. You can only claim this freebie in-store – it’s not available to order online for takeaway or delivery.
The Money Saving Expert (MSE) founder has geared up some excitement for the freebie by sharing it in the recent weekly MSE email. He said: “FREE Creams Café gelato scoop (normally £2.50). Here’s a scoop for you – no code, no min spend – just turn up this Friday at 90+ locations in England, max one scoop per person. (PS: It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out – it could go wild, with big queues and stock shortages, or be as smooth as ice.)”
