Comedian mum-of-two Celeste Barber, 42, has been praised on social media after jokingly replicating an influencer’s sexy dance routine in front of her 9.6million followers

A comedian mum has hilariously replicated a young model’s sexy dance video – and treated her fans to her moves on Instagram.

Australian star Celeste Barber found fame in the 2000s, starring as Bree Matthews in the TV show All Saints. She later moved into comedy and is currently in the middle of a successful tour of the US.

Earlier this week she found the time to entertain her 9.6million followers in a clip that’s gone down a storm. Beginning by showing a social media stunner shaking her toned abs to a dance beat, the video soon switches to 42-year old Celeste.

Donning a white bra top and beige knickers, the mum-of-two is seen shaking her hips to the same music in her kitchen. Celeste captioned the post: “Rhythm is in the eye of the drunk mum. #celestechallengeaccepted.”

Scores of Celeste’s followers loved her routine, with one gushing: “I keep thinking the last one was my favourite, and then you do another one that’s my favourite.” Another penned: “Love it Celeste as usual. Keep up the brilliant work.”

A third added: “Celeste, your dance is much more powerful and energetic. I loooove it!” And a fourth quipped: “I’m always wondering how you’re going to top yourself and you never fail.”

On a more serious note, many others praised Celeste for being “real” before hitting out at “influencer” culture. “Your version is way more rational seeming than whatever the first girl was doing,” one fan penned. “And that’s not a cut to the first woman. Just an observation that…whatever she was doing…was really odd.”

A second agreed: “F***ing LOVE your videos… Thank you for being so real and f***ing awesome!! A third said: “These people must make these videos in hopes that you’ll recreate, right?! Otherwise, why??” While a fourth added: “Yours are always 1,000 times better in every way.”
