The summer is coming and many of us are dabbling with a spot of gardening.
It’s approaching the time of year when we sunbathe, eat outdoors and make the most of the fresh air – so it’s always good to get the garden looking its best. But some things can be pretty hard to get rid of.
Weeds, moss and algae can take a lot of work to remove. But a “genius” product has been found which banishes the garden pests within minutes. The clever hack was shared on TikTok by a user called mycouncilhouse, and since it was shared people have been left in awe.
In the clip a woman can be seen holding up a weed removal brush to the camera before using it to remove hard-to-reach nooks and crannies on her patio.
She admitted her weeds grow “fast”, so getting rid of them is always an annoying job. But the brush quickly and easily removes unwanted growths – it even comes with an extendable handle.
The TikToker was pleased with the results she saw in her garden, claiming it even managed to dispose of “really stubborn” weeds.
And fans agreed the brush was nothing short of a miracle. One said: “I just bought it – it’s fab. I also didn’t realise about the handle too.” Another added: “Oh, I’m gonna get. Thanks for the recommendation.”
A third replied: “At least you’re not using dangerous/toxic sprays.” Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “I don’t believe – I have to try.”
Others were keen to share their own weeding tips and tricks. One person suggested: “Use bicarbonate of soda.” Another wrote: “Can’t relate. Spray. Leave. Continue with life.”
Meanwhile, one more chimed in with: “Bicarb of soda when we have more than one day of sun. Next rain it’ll kill them from the roots, and it’s safe.”
