A man was left horrified when someone messaged him on Facebook Marketplace asking about X-rated details regarding a sofa – and it turns out others have received the same creepy message

A man has shared an X-rated message he received on Facebook Marketplace – and it turns out others have been sent the same creepy DM.

Max, who posts on X (formerly Twitter) as @Juicewag, posted a screenshot of the message he’d received about a sofa he was giving away for free on the marketplace.

He wrote: “Trying to get rid of a couch today and got this very normal message,” alongside the screenshot, where the message read: “Hi Max, is this still available? Any drinks or j**z stains lol? Have to ask this day and age. I hope a good story if so! Otherwise looks like a solid, comfy couch.”

In a later post, Max joked: “This is blowing up, please come take this couch (there are no stains), I’ll even throw in some beer and a bit of vodka I have left.”

It turns out this isn’t the first message the person has sent regarding furniture, however, as someone else shared a screenshot of a very similar message their pal had received, asking about the same dubious stains on the sofa.

When their mate replied though, the person wrote back: “That’s a decent chair. Ha no fun in it ever? That’s a shame, adds character! But that means you’re a better person than me…”

Another received “the same” message, and they posted: “I was selling a rug a few months ago in Chicago and got the same message. I think this dude is seeking out j**z stained furniture,” followed by a crying with laughter emoji.

Max shared that he didn’t reply to the message he received, and “immediately blocked” the person instead as he wasn’t interested in responding to him. Another X user wrote: “It’s actually insane that 10 years ago I gave away a couch and also got a message like this. What the f**k man?”
