London’s had a rocky road weather-wise in 2024. While June isn’t shaping up to be a total disaster, with some decent sunny days so far, there’s a straight seven days of rain on the horizon.

Between June 12 and June 18, it’s set to rain every day, according to BBC Weather.

That being said, from today (Wednesday, June 5) we’re set to see a long sunny spell until June 10. While temperatures shouldn’t get us too excited, hovering about the late teens, the sunshine should get us nicely set up for the summer proper…whenever it actually arrives.

Today sees highs on 17C, and this will creep upwards to around 19C. When the rain starts on June 12, the temperatures will actually get going up, so fingers crossed they’ll stay high once the rain clouds pass.
