Samsung’s currently offering £500 cashback for TV shoppers but we’ve spotted a hidden deal at the brand offering a much bigger £800 off the price – here’s how to get it

Anyone in need of a new TV for the 2024 Euros kickoff may want to keep Samsung at the back of their minds, as it hands out a huge £500 to anyone who buys a new telly. The newest deal comes weeks after its flashy 2024 devices were launched, this time giving viewers a chunk of their money back.

It’s as simple as picking a 2024 flagship NEO QLED 8K HDR device that takes your fancy and once you have your receipt Samsung will send you £500 cashback. While Sky offers up an eye-watering £140 off its Sky Glass set in time for the Euro’s kick-off, this Galaxy deal may be the winner…if you have thousands to spare.

That’s because the biggest cashback amount of £500 starts on its £4,499 2024 75-inch model (that’s already cut in price), so understandably it’s not going to be up for grabs for everyone. However, a flick to the end of Samsung’s sale page shows a more affordable offer we simply couldn’t ignore.

The newest 2024 S95D OLED 4K HDR Smart TV, with its new glare-free screen and a slim design that could even fit in a poky flat. It’s already reduced by £400 in the sale, but viewers can get an extra £200 off if they hand over any old TV…and still get a bit of cashback.

Yes, ditching an older device no matter the brand or model could total your discount amount by as much as £600, a deal better than the £500 cashback offer (in our opinion) as you don’t have to fork out more than £4,000 and it’s still a swanky 2024 model.

And even better, there’s a smaller £200 in cashback up for grabs too. So, if you handed over an older TV you’d get up to £200 off, then make the most of its £400 sale discount and another £200 in cashback (once you’ve claimed) that’s a hefty £800 off the model in total.

The German-hosted 2024 Euros are just over a week away, with the first match between Germany and Scotland taking place on June 14. And brands are using it as a way to plug their much-cheaper TV deals, Sky itself says fans can ‘gear up for a Summer of Sport’.

Alternatively over at John Lewis, the highstreet retailer says ‘get the stadium atmosphere’ with LG TVs, and in the hype it’ll give shoppers 15% off the price and a £300 gift card to spend in store.
