Swifties attending Eras Tour concerts tonight and across the weekend have been sent a warning email ahead of the first Taylor Swift concert in Edinburgh, urging them not to camp overnight or in nearby green spaces.
According to ‘The Eras Tour UK and Ireland’ X page, which posts regular updates relating to Taylor’s tour including the Murrayfield Stadium concerts taking place today, tomorrow and Sunday (June 7,8 and 9), organisers have explained that the residential location of the stadium means there is no provision for campers.
The event organisers have also told fans that the designated time on their tickets indicates when they should arrive at the stadium. The warning email, shared by a fan on X, said: “Scottish Gas Murrayfield is situated in a residential area which isn’t suitable for overnight camping or anyone queuing too far in advance of the gate opening times.”

It continued: “We would therefore ask that anyone attending only arrive at the venue at the time, which is advertised on their tickets, on the day of their show,” reports Edinburgh Live.
The email also listed the key times for the Murrayfield dates:
- VIP early entry: 3pm
- General admission: 4pm
- Show begins: 6pm
Clarifying the details, the email concluded: “Please keep in mind that all timings are subject to change. There will be specific turnstiles dedicated for specific ticket types to help you gain access into the venue – please turn up at the correct area detailed on your tickets.”
