Burger King lovers are delighted by the new and unique menu items that have been added to the summer menu – including two new burgers, loaded fries, as well as two frozen drinks

Burger King fans are delighted as brand new food items have been added to the summer 2024 menu – but some aren’t as keen on the price.

The beloved fast food company, which has 526 locations around the UK, has revamped its menu selection once again, and added two new burgers, new loaded fries, and two cooling drinks – just in time for the changing weather. Plus one summer drink is back by popular demand.

Burger lovers will delight in trying the new “grilled to perfection” Gourmet Kings collection launched in stores. New burgers include the Bacon Caesar Angus burger and the Bacon Caesar Crispy Chicken burger. Both are topped with fresh rocket, crispy onions, an oak smoked cheddar slice, bacon and garlic caesar mayo, and sandwiched between a toasted brioche bun. To make both burgers a large meal deal, it will set you back £11.49. One of the burgers on their own will cost you £8.19.

What’s more, UK customers can also try the Bacon Caesar Loaded King Fries, topped with bacon pieces and the same Caesar mayo for £4.69. Also new to try is the Blue Raspberry Frozen Fanta drink as well as a Frozen Strawberry Fanta drink – both priced at £2.99.

A spokesperson for Burger King said: “Keep cool with our new addition to the Frozen Fanta range!” Plus, for those who love citrus flavours, the lemon frozen Fanta is making a comeback for £2.99.

After popular food social media page New Foods UK shared images of the new products on Instagram recently, Burger King fans rushed to share their thoughts. One individual said: “Fantas look good.” “Wow,” wrote another.

“Omg blue raspberry,” added one other. “Frozen Fanta omg,” commented one other. One other added: “I’m gonna check my burger king, to see if we have all that cool stuff!”

But some others couldn’t get past the prices. “I know Burger King has always been on the expensive side, but that’s taking liberties,” said another. “£11.49 for a large meal is crazy,” said one other.

Another commented: “£11.50 for a Burger King meal now. What on earth.”

The new Burger King items are now available in stores and online to order.
