There’s no need to jump on a 24-hour flight to stock up on one of New Zealand’s most iconic Cadbury chocolate bars, as the sweet treats have been spotted in B&M stores across the UK

An iconic Cadbury treat has come all the way from New Zealand due to ‘popular demand’.

The chocolate giant, which recently came under fire for hiking its prices due to rising ingredients costs, has thrilled users with the new bar. It has been spotted by eagle-eyed shoppers in budget retailer B&M, which once stocked the chocolate for a limited time,

It follows the well-received launch of the Cadbury Iced Latte Twirl, which recently came over from Australia, and the Dairy Milk Caramel Nut Crunch and Nutty Praline Crisp that debuted last month. While some have branded the new chocolate as ‘addictive’ and ‘lush’, some aren’t so keen of the fruity-flavoured centre…

“Perky Nana’s back by popular demand!” B&M said on social media. “Grab yours for just £1.25 – all the way from New Zealand… It’s a must-try treat.”

If you haven’t guessed already, Perky Nana is a banana-flavoured chew bar that is ‘wrapped in luscious’ Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate. Previously they were only available to buy online from retailers specialising in foreign sweets and chocolate, which meant they came with a pretty hefty premium.

Hundreds of chocolate lovers flocked to the comments section to hail the new bar, with many desperate to get their hands on it. “Looks yummy will keep an eye out for it,” said one user. Another agreed, commenting: “These are lush!” A third added: “Oh my god, two of my favourite things.” While a fourth raved: “These are so addictive.”

However, not everybody seemed thrilled with the slightly unusual flavour combo. “Really thought I’d like this but I didn’t,” one user complained.” Another fumed: “Sorry, but they are horrible.” While a third penned: “£1.25 a bar? Glad I don’t eat chocolate anymore.”
