Advice to passengers to ;allow extra time for journeys’ from rail companies
In a statement on both the Southern and Southeastern websites it reads: “Network Rail, and the emergency servces are on site carrying out their duties. In the meantime, we ask that you allow extra time to complete your journey.
“Services between London Bridge and Beckenham Junction will do so between London Bridge and Birkbeck. You should use London Buses to complete your journey in this area, or London Tramlink services between Beckenham Junction and East Croydon.
“We anticipate Thameslink services between London and Sevenoaks to run as normal. Stations between Orpington and London will have a reduced service – please use London Buses or alternative Southeastern services.
