A road has been closed in both directions following a crash this morning (Saturday, June 22). St John’s Hill near Clapham Junction has been closed between Falcon Road and Plough Road since 5am, according to the traffic monitoring site INRIX.
Some nine London bus routes which travel through the town centre have been diverted. These are the 37, 39, 87, 156, 170, 295, 337, 344 and C3 routes.
Traffic reports show the A205, which connects Wandsworth and Clapham, is experiencing heavier congestion due to vehicles being diverted.
The latest INRIX update reads: “A3036 St John’s Hill in both directions closed due to accident from A3207 Falcon Road to Plough Road. Outside Clapham Junction station.”
