Sweet-toothed Brits have expressed their excitement over Cadbury’s second launch of one of its popular chocolate bars in B&M stores across the country. Many took to social media to hail its return
Chocolate-loving Brits have expressed their excitement at the return of one of Cadbury’s limited edition favourites.
The confectionary giant first launched a Honeycomb Sundae flavoured version of its iconic Twirl last year – and it seems fans have now been given a second bite due to its popularity. The chocolate bar, which is a regular on shelves in Australia, is once again being sold by discount chain store, B&M.
In a snap shared by the New Foods UK Facebook page, two of the bars could be seen alongside the caption: “Honeycomb Twirls are back at B&M Stores.” Some with a sweet tooth have already tried in vain to grab the Twirls it appears, with one Facebook user bemoaning in response: “Every time I go they’ve sold out or have none! I need these back in my life.”
Another cursed: “I looked last week couldn’t find any ..was disappointed meh.” Others expressed their intrigue, however, with one person penning: “Mmm they could be good!” As a second declared: “Will need to look out for these when I go back.”
The snack, which is being sold at £1 a pop, is described by Cadbury as: “Two bars of honeycomb sundae flavoured swirls and curls coated in Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate.
Other B&M officianados took to the post, meanwhile, to point out that stores are also selling Iced Latte editions at the same price. And it follows the chain’s introduction of another Cadbury favourite from New Zealand earlier this month – the Perky Nana.
In an Instagram post shared on June 9, B&M penned: “Perky Nana’s back by popular demand! Grab yours for just £1.25 – all the way from New Zealand! Indulge in this banana-flavored chew bar, wrapped in luscious Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate. It’s a must-try treat!”
The Perky Nana is a banana-flavoured chew bar that is ‘wrapped in luscious’ Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate. Previously they were only available to buy online from retailers specialising in foreign sweets and chocolate, which meant they came at a pretty hefty premium.
