A man left the internet in hysterics after revealing what happened following a cheeky night’s stay at a “single mum’s” house. His walk home looked a lot more colourful thanks to a hilarious blunder

When you decide to have a spontaneous sleepover following a night out or a house party, the journey home can always be eventful. But it’s fair to say you never expect to walk home wearing a random kid’s school shoes.
That’s exactly what happened to one man following a cheeky rendezvous – and it’s left the internet in hysterics. A picture of the bloke was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, following the impromptu dating blunder, and people can’t stop laughing.
Two snaps were shared of the anonymous bloke walking home, and you could see him pictured wearing shorts, bright pink socks and a pair of old school shoes.
Over the top of the pictures, he wrote: “That’s the last time I’m staying at a single mum’s house. Her son wore my Airforces to school. Now I’m in his school shoes on the way home.”
Since the pictures were shared, people have been left in fits of laughter. They just can’t believe how funny the story is.
It seems like things like this really do only happen to some people, and the pictures have got people giggling. People are loving that fact he decided to wear the school shoes to walk home in.
One person commented: “It’s not the fact he’s wearing school shoes, but rather that he actually fits in them.” Another wrote: “He’s wearing the little sisters bed socks as well by the looks of it.”

It’s fair to say the post amused many, and it’s only just getting started. There have been many wild and wonderful dating disasters over the years, but this tale has left people particularly tickled.
After all, it’s not often you go out on the lash, and have to walk home in school shoes the next day.
