The 2024 Amazon Prime Day sale starts this July 16 but here are the pages you’ll need to save to find the biggest discount

Amazon Prime Day is just around the corner as the official one-week countdown starts with the huge sale event. While there are still a few days to go shoppers may want to prep for the discounts by saving these ‘hidden’ brand pages.

Ahead of the sale bonanza, a host of tech products are already a lot cheaper to buy, there’s already a huge saving to be had on Apple’s flagship iPhone 15 Pro Max, a quality Samsung phone for under £100, and an eye-catching £92 price drop on the GHD wet to styled hair straightener.

And the reasons we’ve been able to find these early deals is all down to a hidden clue Amazon has on its early Prime Day sale page, one we’d urge all eager shoppers to save for the best tech deals. Here’s exactly what shoppers need to do to find the biggest discounts from leading tech brands including Shark and Ninja.

As the countdown begins not many consumers will know the exact products that are likely to be reduced, but Amazon actually has a massive hint on its site. Those who head to the top bar window (just under the subheads like ‘today’s deals’) and click along until they see the blue background ‘Prime Day’ window will likely get the best cheap price.

Once on its less-obvious pre-Prime Day page, shoppers will see a list of big brands already confirmed to be taking part under its ‘participating brands’ window. Our biggest tip would be to wait on any of these branded items you already have added to your basket, as they’re likely to drop in price a lot more.

The list includes brands like Swarovski, Samsonite, Puma and DeLonghi while big tech brands include Shark, Philips, Adobe and Logitech. Not forgetting the beauty tech deals shoppers can find on GHD hair styling tools or summer-ready laser and razor tech from Braun.

Once shoppers have clicked into the participating brands page they will see a list of products, and the storefront can then be followed. This means when the discounts drop you will get an email notification – increasignly handy if the brand drops into Amazon’s lightning deal section.

Fancy free takeaway delivery? Access to Deliveroo Plus is one of a host of advantages of Amazon Prime membership, including exclusive Prime Day discounts and perks on Hello Fresh, music, books and Prime Video. Usually £8.99 a month, you can now get a 30-day free trial to get access to the latest deals.

Additionally, a huge perk for tech (as prices tend to soar into the hundreds on phones, and swanky keyboards) is the confirmation these are official brand pages. As Amazon allows third party sellers some products can come from unofficial sellers, so it’s not always transparent about the condition of the tech, these branded pages are all official.

The online retail giant will kick off its sale on Tuesday, July 16, running up until 11:59 pm on Wednesday, July 17. And as the name suggests it is only in the grasp of shoppers who are signed up to its £8.99 per month Prime subscription but a savvy free trial currently means you can get access for free.

There are other sales doing the rounds that shoppers can make the most of, invluding John Lewis’ Panasonic TV price drop, as well as sales at Shark, where you can save up to £100 off select vacuums, and the Dyson summer sale.
