Amazon’s annual Prime Day event is almost here. Shoppers can take advantage of discounts across lots of departments on July 16-17.
The discounts will only be made available to Prime members, who will be able to enjoy savings across sections including beauty, tech, homeware, baby and toddler, kitchen and much more. If you do not have Prime but want to join ahead of the sale there’s still time
You can sign up to Amazon Prime here for £8.99 a month. The subscription includes a 30-day free trial, you can also pay upfront for 12 months instead of monthly – this will set you back £95.

Prime members get unlimited free delivery on all their orders and access to Amazon TV. The website has launched a special deal for students aged between 18-22.
Meanwhile, students can take advantage of an offer where they’ll get a six-month free trial before their monthly payments kick in. Instead of £8.99 monthly, you’ll pay £4.39 – that’s a saving of £47.49 a year.

This is a really important time in their lives, so helping them save while enjoying great shopping and entertainment benefits will make a big difference, whether they’re going to university, starting work, or moving out of home for the first time.”
The website has launched some Early Deals to whet customers’ appetites, including this Blink bundle, which comes with an outdoor camera and doorbell. Prime members can make a saving of £94.99, now on sale for £54.99 reduced from £149.98.
You can also enjoy up to 15% off premium haircare right now ahead of Prime Day. This best-selling Redken One United spray has gone viral on TikTok. The leave-in conditioner is now £18.90, down from £20.72.
When Prime Day kicks off we expect to see deals on brands including Ninja, Shark, Dyson and more. Amazon Prime Day is on Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 17. Other retailers holding sale events at the moment include John Lewis and Antler, which has 20% off for those who spend more than £225.
