There’s another new budget Android smartphone vying for your attention.

Samsung, Motorola and Nokia have another rival to contend with with the team at Nothing launching a ludicrously cheap and pretty unique smartphone. Nothing is still relatively new to the market – their first device launched in 2022 – but they have been shaking things up with devices that get exclusive features – such as the glowing Glyph Interface – at very affordable prices.

Now this UK manufacturer is launching another smartphone under its lower-cost CMF brand and it’s ludicrously cheap. In fact, the CMF Phone 1 can be popped into your pocket for just £209.

For that low price you get a device that includes a 6.67” Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate (that’s faster than the iPhone 15’s 60Hz), a speedy MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor, two-day battery life and RAM Booster technology which lets you easily use more apps at once for improved multitasking.

There’s even a powerful 50MP rear camera – that’s built by Sony – with a dedicated portrait sensor for stunning bokeh effects.

These are all good upgrades for the price but there’s also a pretty unique design as well. Users can swap the back case to a colour that suits their mood or add custom accessories to create a completely personalised daily experience. Just undo the screws with the supplied tool and add a different back case, a stand, lanyard or card case.

It’s on sale now from July 12 at cmf.tech and other retail partners. The standard 128GB model costs £209 with the bigger 256GB version priced at £239.

Along with that phone, there’s also an updated CMF Watch Pro 2 which gets a 1.32’’ AMOLED always-on display, health tracking and 11-day battery life.

You’ll also be able to buy new CMF Buds Pro 2 wireless earbuds which offer loud sound and impressive 43 hours of total battery life.

The CMF Watch Pro 2 is £69 and the CMF Buds Pro 2 cost £59.

“CMF Phone 1, CMF Watch Pro 2, and CMF Buds Pro 2 showcase Nothing’s unique approach to integrating creativity, practicality, and personalisation through design,” said Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing. “These products further mark our commitment to injecting fun into a boring industry, and I’m very excited to see the market feedback.”
