Seven Sisters Tube stabbing live as person fights for life after being knifed

A ‘male’ of unknown age is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed at a Tube station.

Seven Sisters station is currently exit only, the Met Police confirming that the victim was rushed to hospital and is in a life-threatening condition.

Two ‘females’ – again of unknown age – have been arrested.

TfL wrote: “This station is open for exit only while police respond to an incident. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses via any reasonable route.”

A BTP spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Seven Sisters underground station at 8.48am today (July 23) to reports of a serious assault. Paramedics also attended and a male has been taken to hospital with injuries that are consistent with being stabbed. His injuries are believed to be life threatening.

“Two females have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. One has also been further arrested on suspicion of common assault. They remain in police custody and enquiries are ongoing.

“The underground station remains closed while officers investigate, and passengers will see an increased policing presence in the area. Anyone with information can contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 with the reference 171 of 23 July.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.48am on Tuesday, July 23, to reports of an incident in Seven Sisters Road, N15. We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response cars, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.

“The first of our crews arrived in two minutes. Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a London major trauma centre.”
