The popular Roosters range hits shelves again this week, with plenty of mouth-watering dishes to choose from – such as peri-peri chicken, spicy rice and creamy houmous
If you’re in search of dinner inspiration this weekend but don’t want to break the bank ordering a takeaway or going out to eat, Aldi has got you covered.
The budget retailer has brought back its popular Roosters range, and it’s said to be the perfect ‘fakeaway feast’ if you’re craving that peri-peri kick.
Coming in cheaper than high street favourite Nando’s, the Aldi range was first introduced last year, with fans raving about how much they loved the spicy chicken, creamy houmous, peri-peri chips and more. Now, it’s back on shop shelves from today – Thursday, July 25 – but you’ll need to be quick if you want to get your hands on the products.

Aldi announced the return of the new and improved Roosters range on Instagram earlier this week, much to the delight of fans. Posting a delicious-looking snapshot of the offerings, they said: “Introducing our new Roosters range – can you handle the heat?
“Grab our new selection of starters, mains and sides this Thursday for the ultimate fakeaway feast!”
There’s so much to choose from in the new range, with different spice levels to suit a range of taste buds. The main event, the peri-peri half chicken, is priced at £3.99 – and it’s also available in a lemon and herb flavour if you prefer a milder flavour.
You can also pick up a pack of chicken thigh fillets for £3.29 each, again available in the two different spice flavours. Chicken breast fillets are also hitting the shelves today, priced at £3.69, which would be perfect popped in a pitta or a wrap.
If you really feel like levelling up your weekend dinner, why not try your luck with the chicken wing roulette? This large portion is made up of wings with different spice levels, and there’s no way to tell which is which – it’s definitely not for the faint hearted.
And no Nando’s-inspired meal would be complete without a delicious couple of sides too. Shoppers can choose from a crunchy rainbow slaw for 79p, houmous with peri-peri drizzle for 99p, spicy rice, peas and peri-peri chips, to name a few.
This range is only available instore for a limited time, so be quick if you want to secure your ultimate weekend fakeaway fix.
