Miami Crispy is preparing to open its third venue
The owners of viral chicken shop Miami Crispy have announced plans to open a third store in London.
The brand, which originally launched in Burnage, Manchester, is ‘close’ to opening the doors to their new East London venue.
There’s currently no official opening date, but it’s set for Claybury Broadway in Ilford, with the new store marking their third, alongisde Chorlton and Burnage.
The chicken burger specialists took to TikTok to share the news with fans, with their announcement video amassing 1.9 million views and over 30,000 likes.
Fans didn’t hold back their enthusiasm, with one declaring: “This might be the best news I’ve heard this year.”
Another hopeful customer pleaded, “Come to west London please! ! ” A third, seeking confirmation, asked, “Is this genuinely real? ? ? ” and was met with a candid “yes” from the Miami Crispy account, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Speaking to the MEN about the forthcoming location, a spokesperson for Miami Crispy said: “We’re very very close to opening our first store in London, by next week inshallah. We posted it on TikTok and it’s had crazy views even though we’ve not put any effort into the marketing.”
Addressing the brand’s popularity on TikTok, they continued: “It’s all about showing our journey, our aim is to go form one shop in Burnage to more and more in Manchester and the country.”
Based in Burnage, Miami Crispy became an internet sensation due to its spicy chicken burger, hailed as the ‘best in the country’ by the takeaway. The eatery’s popularity skyrocketed after receiving rave reviews from TikTok food bloggers, leading to people travelling from all corners of the country for a bite.
However, despite its booming success, local residents have voiced concerns over parking problems and excessive littering caused by the large queues. Earlier this year, they were ordered to shut down their Chorlton branch due to opening without the correct planning permission.
