UK supermarket giant Sainsbury’s has reportedly upped the ante on its prized meal deal, igniting chatter amongst its 30 million customers and sending social media into a buzz.
As a staple for Brits on-the-go, Sainsbury’s meal deal comprising of a main, like a sandwich or pasta pot, a snack including crisps options, and a drink, recently saw a price hike that did not go unnoticed.

The branch-specific offerings will depend on stock availability.
This cool revelation has quickly become a hot topic online, with a post from X user Evie Aspinall going viral: “PSA: You can get ice cream as your snack in the Sainsbury’s meal deal.”
