A bride-to-be slammed a bridal shop after they delivered a dress she didn’t even recognise. However, after demanding a refund for the catfish outfit, she realised she’d made a rather humiliating mistake
A bride-to-be was ready to unleash hell after the dream wedding dress she bought arrived looking a little worse for wear.
Of course, tying the knot is all about committing to a lifetime of happiness with your partner and sharing your love with your friends and family. But there’s no denying the wedding dress comes a close second place in priorities, and the pressure for it to be perfect can sometimes be overwhelming.
One woman had settled on a gorgeous strapless fishtail dress with intricate detailing and some fancy frills at the bottom. But when she tried the delivered dress on at home, she couldn’t picture herself walking down the aisle – as the dress looked nothing like what she had ordered.
The woman admitted sending an angry message to the store to demand a refund for the dress and felt frustrated that her hunt for the perfect dress would have to start all over again. But she finally realised her embarrassing error when the shop replied to simply point out: “Hi, you put the dress on inside out, please put it on the right way.”
The bride was left in stitches at her own “blonde moment” and shared the hilarious mishap on Facebook back in 2020, writing: “Two weeks ago my wedding dress came in. I was really upset about the looks of it and sent an angry email to the company wanting to return it. I took pictures of me in the dress telling them it looked nothing like what I had ordered. Well, today I received this response from the company ‘you put the dress on inside out, please put it on the right way’.
“Who knew that they shipped wedding dresses inside out? …the dress actually turned out beautiful. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how much school we put behind us….we’re still going to lack common sense , like how to put clothes on properly.”

The post racked up hundreds of shares and likes as people rushed to the comments section to laugh about the blunder. “Girl, I’m over here dying to see pictures of you with it inside out,” one person wrote. Another commented: “Thank you for this! I needed the laugh! I just love you! You looked beautiful, even inside out!” While a third added: “I just p***ed myself.” Well, that’s a story to tell the grandkids…
