It might be the weekend, but that’s no excuse to let your brain cells off the hook.
Puzzles and brain teasers can be a really fun way to spend your time, but they do require a lot more brain power than some other forms of relaxation. But setting aside some time to do them can be really beneficial to you.
Not only are they entertaining, but they can also help boost your overall cognitive function, improve your memory and focus – and force you to think outside the box. So why not give it a go this fine Saturday afternoon?
Take a look at the image above, and try not to get distracted by the sea of similar-looking love hearts. Some are red, some are pink, some are upside-down – and they are all smiling. This one is designed to trick your brain, so you really have to focus in order to find what you’re looking for.
There’s actually one love heart which looks different to the rest, in this brain teaser created by gaming experts at Spin Genie UK. And it’s your job to find it – but we warn you, it’s tricky. Apparently, 50% of Brits take over 30 seconds to find the odd heart out. So if you find it, you’ve got really keen eyesight.
So set a timer, and see how you get on. Once you’re done, take a look at the picture below to see if you were right. But we warn you, there are spoilers ahead.
Here it is! You’ll find the odd love heart on the left side of the bottom half of the image. While all the other heart have either red or blue cheeks, this one has pink. Once you see it, it becomes obvious.
Ready for another? Apparently, you have ‘top IQ’ if you can solve this maths puzzle in under 12 seconds. It’s seriously complicated, and many have been left scratching their heads.
