Supermarket chains Morrisons and Waitrose have both issued an emergency recall of several popular crumpets after pieces of metal have been found inside, according to the Food Standards Agency
Shoppers have been told to return crumpets bought at Morrisons and Waitrose due to pieces of metal being found inside.
Both supermarkets have issued an emergency recall of certain products made by Rathbones Kear due to the possible presence of small pieces of metal. Morrisons is asking for the return of three types of crumpets while Waitrose was the first supermarket to recall Hovis crumpets.
