In need of a new MacBook laptop? This new deal from Sky makes things much more affordable.
As most Apple fans will be well aware, splashing out on a new MacBook is never going to be cheap. However, Sky has just launched a surprisingly impressive deal on these popular laptops that is making them much more affordable to own. In fact, you can currently pop a MacBook Air in your online shopping basket for just £22 per month – that’s less than £1 per day.

So how does this deal work and is it really any good?
The offer is based on the MacBook Air 13-inch and requires you to sign up for a 48-month contract. Until recently, the price was £25 per month with the firm boasting this is now its ‘lowest ever’ price on this device.
There is a £2 upfront fee to pay with the total price of the contract working out at £1,058.

Now here are some things to note before tapping the buy button. The MacBook Air Sky is offering is the M2 model in Midnight with 256GB of storage. This is a top-rated laptop that includes a stunning 13.3-inch Liquid Retina screen, Magsafe charging, long battery life, Touch ID fingerprint scanner and lightweight design.
However, this model has now been superseded by the even more powerful MacBook M3 which offers more performance, faster Wi-Fi and the ability to run dual screens when being used in your home office.

Apple is still selling the M2 version on its website with prices starting from £999 – that’s £59 cheaper than Sky but you will have to pay in one go rather than in more affordable instalments.
Although you do have to sign up for 48 months with Sky, the company will let you switch things up after just 36 months – although you will have to sign a new contract.
The final thing to note is that Sky is also offering a SIM when you buy this MacBook Air with the entry-level plan – which includes 100MB of data – currently free.

There’s also 5GB for £8 per month or 25GB for £12 per month – these SIMs can be used as hotspots for when you are out with your MacBook and don’t have access to Wi-Fi.
Sky MacBook deal our verdict: Buying from Sky does mean signing up to a long-term contract and is £59 more than buying directly from Apple. That said, paying just £22 per month makes this popular and premium laptop finally feel way more affordable.
