Police are investigating an ‘incident’ that took place at Brunel University of London this evening (Wednesday, May 21). It is not yet clear what has happened but security has been stepped up on the Uxbridge campus.
In a statement posted at 7.30pm, the university confirmed it’s staff are working closely with the Metropolitan Police. The on-site security will also be making more patrols throughout the night.
Students are being offered support from staff, with further updates to be issued when possible.
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.
