I browsed the sales from M&S, Antler, Dunelm and H&M, there’s one thing you can’t miss

From Antler’s Ryanair-fee ditching cabin bags to H&M’s huge spring sale, I’ve scoured the recent online sales to find the best deals, including a ‘hidden’ sale at Marks and Spencer

Antler, M&S, Dunelm, and H&M are just a handful of retailers who’ve launched a series of price drops this Spring, and while chocolate sales are soaring ahead of the Easter bank holiday, so are travel cabin bags, pastel homewares and fashion staples.

As a consumer writer, I’ve become partial to hitting up the sales, not only so I can splurge on my favourite brands but to point out the ones that aren’t worth opening your wallet for. After spending the morning scouring the sale pages the discounts are filled with products too good not to share.

From Antler’s Ryanair-fee ditching cabin bags to Wayfair’s rattan patio furniture sale, to the hidden clearance aisle at M&S….I’ve also spotted a load of floaty linen staples, which could work as a budget-friendly option for GANNI lovers, over at H&M. So, let’s get started.

My first port of call was heading over to Dunelm, to catch onto its ongoing spring sale which has now merged into an Easter event with up to 50% off, being one to browse if you’re looking for new furniture, whether it’s dining sets, 40% off bed frames, or one-off pieces to make the corner of a room pop, like this curved boucle chair. Colourful decor has been trending this spring, so I couldn’t help but be tempted by this gorgeous yellow, blue, and pink Medina Jute Rug which is now a lot cheaper.

Travel bags are also high up in Dunelm’s sale where you can find wheely cabin bags for just £24 or hold size for £35. There’s even an under-the-seat suitcase small enough to fit under the seat in front (so you can avoid extra Ryanair and easyJet fees) but comes with the added ease of wheels.

Dunelm is certainly one to look at for luggage, but its savings aren’t as big as luxury rival Antler, which was the next store on my list during my morning spree. Known for its high-end cabin, bags, suitcases and travel accessories, Antler cases are more premium, you could say up with the like of Samsonite – so any chance you find to get one of its bags for less I’d urge anyone to jump on (if you need a suitcase that is).

Sales for travellers and soon-to-be holidaymakers

The Antler Spring Sale has all sorts, from £66 off hard-shell suitcases, £50 off cabin bags, or a whopping £171 off luggage sets like this Moss Grey Logo Set which is now £399 compared to its usual £570 price. Looking at what’s the best value for money I’d suggest travellers opt for the luggage sets, as you save 15% on the large, medium and cabin cases when you bundle all three in one purchase, buying all individually (even in the sale).

One product I’ve added to my own shopping faves is the Antler Chelsea Day Backpack, now £84 as opposed to £140, as I can see multiple uses out of it. Obviously, it would work as a usual commuter backpack but its tech pockets and laptop sleeve make it ideal for travelling with tech devices, not to mention it’s also big enough to bundle a long weekend’s worth of clothes in, and yes it would also fit under the seat of a plane.

Spring staples and brand discounts at H&M and Marks and Spencer

Moving onto another item I’ve already bought for myself in the sale and we have H&M, where it’s dropped huge discounts with up to 50% off across women’s, men, kids, baby and H&M home…. and this Leather Shopper was straight in my basket (reduced from £139 down to £112) I couldn’t ignore the fact that rival brands sell similar styles for a much higher price like this £185 one from Apatchy London. Another spring staple, perfect for pairing with a ribbed dress and light jacket, are these Leather Knee-High Boots, which are now reduced by £19.99.

One thing you can’t miss

Marks and Spencer doesn’t have an official sale on its new Spring additions, just yet anyway, but there is still a hidden sale. It’s slightly harder to spot on the main page, but on the main page headings click into offers and you’ll see the clearance sale pop up. It’s here where I’ve found worthy mentions with discounts on a load of brands including FatFace, Nobody’s Child, Ghost, and Crew Clothing.
