The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to release within the next few days – and if gamers have been holding out on buying it, they might be in luck because some retailers still have stock.

The Switch 2 will be released on June 5 and will see an upgraded Switch console with a bigger screen, new games, and a whole new number of features to be included. To begin with, pre-ordering the device was a bit of a struggle, but the good news is that shoppers can get their hands on it right now.

Amazon is the place to look, which currently has the console for pre-order for £395.99 and £429.99 for the Mario Kart: World bundle if gamers want a new game to go along with the shiny new console.

There are other places to look at as well for the device. Nintendo itself has opened pre-orders for those with a Nintendo account to buy. A word of warning to gamers: both of these retailers have a 1 person purchase limit, so shoppers can only buy one.

For shoppers who want to shop around for a new games console, Sony has also kicked off its Days of Play sale, offering discounts on consoles, controllers, and games. The Dualsense Edge Wireless controller can be picked up for £174.99, while the PS VR2 with Horizon: Call of the Mountain for £354.99 is also reduced from £399.

There are other places to look as well, depending on your retailer of choice. Here’s a quick rundown of all the places shoppers can buy the Switch 2 between now and June 5.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will come with a custom Nvidia chipset, a 7.9-inch LCD display with 1080p resolution, the ability to output in 4K as well as exclusive games that will come to the console.

For those who already have Switch games, they will have the ability to pay extra to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game. They include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Party: Jamboree, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and more.

The Switch 2 will also focus much more on third-party games such as Cyberpunk: 2077 and Star Wars: Outlaws, thanks to the upgraded custom chipset, which will allow games to be upscaled from a lower resolution, thanks to DLSS.
