Shoppers can save over £430 with the limited-time discount on this timepiece available in many colours
Father’s Day is just over a week away, and those looking for a gift still have time. At Debenhams, shoppers can save on what customers are calling a “smart-looking” watch that is being sold online for a fraction of its usual worth.
The STÜHRLING Original Depthmaster 3950A comes in a range of colours at Debenhams, including black, blue and green or versions with pops of bold shades like red, orange and gold. Normally sold for £510, shoppers can get any style ahead of Father’s Day on June 15 at the reduced price of £78.25 – a £431.25 discount.
Debenhams called the “robust timepiece” an accessory that is “perfect for capturing attention”. It says: “This watch is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, making it the ideal companion for aquatic adventures”, with water resistance up to 100m (330 feet).

Away from the water, this watch also has a “stylish” stainless steel link bracelet with a “secure and comfortable fit” that would also look good dressed up for more formal occasions. Shoppers can get similar watches elsewhere for a similar price, such as this Casio Men’s Stainless Steel Dive Watch on Amazon (£73.98) or this Citizen Men’s Silver Chronograph Bracelet Watch at Argos (£99.99).
However, fans of Debenhams’ offer made their feelings clear with a wave of five star reviews online. One of the glowing reviews said: “This is a quality watch. It’s that good I bought a black one for myself and the green one for my son.”
Another added: “The Depthmaster watch looks good, is stylish, colourful and quite solid. I like it a lot.” A third posted: “Beautiful watch [that was a] perfect gift for my husband.”
This timepiece received more praise on the official STÜHRLING website. Someone else wrote: “I really like this watch. The colour combination of black face and red bezel makes it my most worn from my collection of over 30.”
And, a fifth shared: “Great style watch, great value and looks really good on.” They added: “I have been getting a lot of comments about it.”
However, some shoppers experienced issues, such as one who claimed the watch felt “a bit heavy.” A few suggested there were issues with delivery, as one woman claimed her ruby wedding anniversary was “ruined” because the watch was delivered weeks after the date Debenhams gave.
Debenhams shoppers can order the watch online and benefit from free standard delivery, which claims to take between three and five working days. The store has more information about delivery times and prices here.
