Ten lucky winners could each be walking away with a cool £100 to spend in Aldi thanks to our fantastic competition
Aldi has yet again been crowned the UK’s cheapest supermarket – and what better way to celebrate than being in with a chance of winning a share of £1,000 to spend in stores?
That’s enough to buy a heap of goodies – from award-winning wine to delicious fresh and frozen groceries.
The retailer received the accolade in a new independent price comparison by leading trade magazine The Grocer.
The survey – based on a basket of 33 everyday items – revealed Aldi’s total came in at just £59.44 – making it 56p cheaper than Lidl. In addition, the same products cost £20.41 more at the most expensive supermarket Waitrose (£79.85)
Aldi is the fourth-largest supermarket in the UK, and consumer champion Which? has named Aldi as the UK’s cheapest supermarket for each of the past four years, and for every month so far this year.
It’s safe to say £100 will go a long way at the store, so what are you waiting for? You’ve got to be in it to win it!

Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi, said: “While others make noise about price, Aldi delivers on it week in, week out. Being named the UK’s cheapest supermarket by both the G33 and Which? in the same week isn’t just a win, it’s proof that no one can match the consistent value we offer.
“To celebrate this latest win, we’re excited to give away vouchers to ten lucky shoppers. It’s our way to say thank you to our amazing customers who choose to shop with us time and time again.”
This competition closes at midnight on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Good luck!
