Jet2 has announced that tens of thousands of passengers could have to fork out £39, or less, if they want to bag some last minute bargains. The travel operator said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday that it had slashed the price on many one-way fares, with thousands of these now at £39 or below.

The post reads: “THIS JUST IN…. Over 10,000 seats at £39 or less with the UK’s number one airline! Book now, don’t miss out… Ends MIDNIGHT FRIDAY. T&Cs apply.” A quick look on Jet2’s website shows there are flights to many destinations included in the sale.

For example, fliers from London Stansted can enjoy a one-way journey to Alicante on Wednesday, July 2, for £36. Elsewhere a jaunt to Pula, Croatia, on Saturday, June 28, will set Stansted passengers back just £28.

And from Bristol, you can fly to Girona or Ibiza this Saturday, June 28, or to Madeira on Monday, June 30, for £28. These prices were correct at the time of publication.

However, Jet2 explains: “Prices displayed are our lowest available price within the month detailed. Availability at this price maybe limited and only on certain days.
