London is set to see another heatwave, according to forecasters down at the BBC. Between Wednesday, July 9, and Wednesday, July 16, thermostats will be hovering between 28C and 31C.

A London heatwave threshold is met when a thermostats hit 28C for at least three consecutive days. However what constitutes a heatwave threshold temperature changes from county to county.

It will feel much like it has in recent days: sweaty, sticky, and unpleasant if you don’t like the heat. Make sure you drink plenty of water and wear sun cream when you go out.

It’s looking hot for the latter part of the month until the end of August. The Met Office’s long range forecast reads: “Temperatures are likely to be above average, with the greatest chance of very warm or hot spells in the south or southeast.”
