Mary Berry’s latest culinary delight is a simple yet scrumptious baked salmon with a parmesan crust, perfect for those seeking a quick and tasty meal.

The recipe notes revealed: “Mary Berry’s foolproof recipe for easy baked salmon with luscious crunchy parmesan crust can be on the table in no time.”

Serving up to six people, this dish is ready in a mere 10 minutes, making it an ideal choice for a speedy supper.

Here’s how you can whip up Mary Berry’s baked salmon, via the Express.

Ingredients:

Six salmon fillets, skinned

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

150g cream cheese

Small garlic clove, crushed

Half a lemon, grated rind only

25g white breadcrumbs

25g coarsely grated parmesan

Two tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley

Method:

To start, preheat your oven to 200C or 180C Fan and prepare the salmon by seasoning both sides.

Place them on a greased baking sheet or in a roasting tin.

In a bowl, mash together the cream cheese with garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon rind, then divide and spread over each salmon fillet.

Mix the breadcrumbs, parmesan, and parsley in another bowl, adding seasoning as desired.

Generously sprinkle this mixture over the cream cheese layer and finish with a dusting of paprika.

Pop the salmon into the oven for just 15 minutes. You’ll know it’s cooked when the flesh turns from translucent to an opaque pink.

Serve straight away with potatoes, rice or salad and garnish it with some chopped parsley.
