From funky outfits to couple drama, the London Underground is always a great place to people watch. And, if you’re lucky, you may even spot your favourite celebrity slumming it on the Bakerloo Line.

Noel Gallagher was recently seen getting off the Tube at Paddington station by a TikToker who happened to be filming a travel video. The shock encounter came days after the Oasis star and brother Liam performed to thousands of fans at Manchester’s Heaton Park.

“This was quite surreal and lucky we caught Noel Gallagher on camera, given that we were already recording anyway – and he essentially photobombed,” creator Lois in the North wrote in the caption.

The short clip shows the casually-dressed musician – who lives in Maida Vale – alight before continuing on his journey. It seems music fans missed their chance to meet the 58-year-old rocker too, with the train and platform almost completely empty.

Social media users were completely baffled by the chance meeting, with one person commenting: “Noel Gallagher isn’t taking the Tube champ,” and another quipping: “Noel Gallagher from Temu maybe.”

However, one eagle-eyed fan assured everyone it was in fact the Britpop legend, commenting: “That’s definitely Noel – the gold dog tag from Tiffany he always wears is a give away too.”

The Supersonic singer is currently on tour with brother Liam after putting aside their 16-year feud. The pair have headed back up north for three more shows, before headlining Wembley Stadium on July 25. They’ll then play six sold-out nights between then and September 28.
