Two men have been injured in a double stabbing attack at a barbershop in South London. The pair – aged 35 and 26 – were taken to hospital – one with knife injuries – after an alleged fight broke out at K1 Barbers, on Sutton High Street, just after 2.10pm on Monday (July 21).
Their injuries are not life-changing or life threatening, according to a statement issued by the Metropolitan Police. Both have since been arrested in connection to the shocking incident.
A section of Sutton High Street was cordoned off soon after the stabbing, and a major police presence remained in the area for some time.
Pictures taken on the busy South London road show broken glass and blood on the pavement outside the shop. Some clothes and a belt were also seen covered in blood. Witnesses said an air ambulance landed at nearby Sutton Green.
