Experts have taken a closer look at the King and Queen’s interactions with one another while they participated in official duties this week, saying they looked “happy and relaxed”

Queen Camilla shows her affection and synchronisation with King Charles III in one adorable way, an expert has observed.

The loved-up King and Queen have spent the week so far in Edinburgh, Scotland, where the couple attended events as part of a scaled-back Holyrood Week. Despite undergoing treatment for an undisclosed cancer, Charles looked energetic while interacting with officials and members of the public, and smiled alongside his wife.

Body language experts have picked up on the couple’s overt energy, but have also taken the time to delve deeper into the more subtle interactions between the monarch and Queen Consort. Darren Stanton has paid close attention to Queen Camilla, whose “affectionate” eyes, he believes, show how “in tune” she is with her husband of nearly two decades.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Live Casino, Mr Stanton said he noted some “great interactions” between the couple during their public appearances. He said: “There were some great interactions between the King, the Queen and the Duke and Duchess. All their facial expressions were genuine.

“They were all looking very happy and relaxed with each other as they enjoyed speaking with members of the public. At some points of their appearance, Camilla was looking at Charles very adoringly.”

Mr Stanton added: “She often gazed into his eyes and kept by his side a lot of the time. The fact she didn’t hold back with her affection tells us she feels very in tune with Charles at the moment, and they are on the same page in terms of their connection. Their relationship is in a very strong state.”

The King and Queen have been seen together in public more often over the last few weeks as the monarch eases back into official public duties, which he had briefly suspended while receiving treatment earlier this year. They were recently joined in Scotland by Prince William and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh.

The two other working royals accompanied Charles and Camilla during the Thistle Service on July 3. The service saw Camilla and Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, officially bestowed with the Order of the Thisle, the highest order of chivalry in Scotland.
