Aldi has exclusively revealed it’s highly anticipated Christmas food offerings for this year with Daily Mirror – including the return of some fan-favourites, as well as some new unique dishes
Despite it only being October, it already feels like Christmas is arriving – and Aldi have launched it’s hotly anticipated Christmas offerings with some pretty unique products this year.
The bargain supermarket has once again been named Christmas Retailer of the Year by Quality Food Awards for the sixth consecutive year, and has exclusively revealed to Daily Mirror the line-up guaranteed to wow your diners.
From luxurious centrepieces to delicious desserts and tipples, the range waves goodbye to traditional turkeys and welcomes in chicken waffles, beef shin wagyu and no beef flank steak for those after something a little different.

But for those relishing in tradition, the Specially Selected The Ultimate British Free-Range Whole Turkey returns for another year, alongside Aldi’s Specially Selected The Ultimate Pigs in Blankets (£2.99).
However there is an alternative to the menu this year for those who want a more eye-catching main event. With the brand new Specially Selected Ultimate Slow Cooked Wagyu Shin (£29.99 per kg), as well as the new Specially Selected Lamb Guard of Honour (£24.99 per kg). For seafood lovers, the supermarket has launched a brand new Specially Selected The Ultimate Salmon Wellington (£12.99, 725g).
But one of the most fun, and important parts of any Christmas feast is the party food. Who doesn’t love over indulging in a good Christmas buffet? This is where the Specially Selected Chicken Waffles with Waffle Sprinkles & Maple BBQ Sauce (£3.69, 8 pack) come in.
While shoppers can also treat friends and family to an award-winning appetiser with new Specially Selected Mini Barber’s Cheddar Cheese & Ham Hock Scones (£4.99, 8 pack) which have also been crowned Best Hot Canapé’ at the BBC Good Food Christmas Awards.
There is also the return of the Ultimate Wagyu Mini Sliders (£5.49, 280g) and the Specially Selected Bao Buns (£4.29, 8 pack) which come in festive Santa and gift designs to add festive magic to any party food table.
Meat-free options include a brand new Specially Selected Sage & Onion Stuffed Tofu Roasting Joint (£4.99, 400g), and the Specially Selected No Beef Flank Steak (£7.49, 430g) that boasts an intense, beefy flavour and a remarkably lean texture.
But what’s a Christmas feast without a well-stocked cheeseboard? The Specially Selected Hickory Smoked Vintage Cheddar (£2.49, 200g) is set to be a fan favourite, alongside some more adventurous combinations such as the Cheddar and Pineapple, Sweet and Smokey Maple Cheddar, and Wensleydale Ballycastle with White Chocolate & Caramel.
For sweet toothed diners, there is the brand new Specially Selected Hazel Nut-Cracker (£7.99, 400g). A gold-dusted Belgian chocolate shell filled with caramel sauce, digestive biscuit balls, mini marshmallows, and a hazelnut and Belgian milk chocolate ganache. Also tapping into the flavour of 2025, the brand new Specially Selected Centrepiece Pistachio Tiramisu (£8.99, 575g) takes the trend to another level.
When it comes to drinks, Aldi has also brought back its multi-award-winning Veuve Monsigny Premier Cru Champagne (£22.99, 75cl),earning a Best Buy title in Which? Best champagne for Christmas in 2024, and awarded Best Champagne in the prestigious Good Housekeeping taste test.
For something more fun, there is also the return of the Infusionist Globes (£13.99, 70cl) and this year’s line-up includes Blood Orange Gin Liqueur, Honey Rum Liqueur and Toffee Vodka Liqueur. Not just a drink – but a décor statement.
