The disgraced former-royal pair have lived at Royal Lodge for over two decades, but now Sarah and Andrew only meet for one thing before they get booted out of the mansion

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson will soon be kicked out Royal Lodge, but the disgraced pair have only met up for one engagement in their last few weeks at the mansion.

The former-royals have lost their titles and home of over 20 years amid the scandal plaguing King Charles ‘ younger brother. Andrew has had all of his royal titles, including prince, removed and is now a commoner, amid fury over his relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and accusations he had sex with Virginia Giuffre when she was a teen. Andrew continues to deny all allegations against him.

An insider has revealed the one time the divorced couple, who have stayed unusually close throughout the years, now spend time together.

Andrew and Sarah now only meet for meals and spend most of their time apart in the 30-room Windsor mansion, an insider told The Sun.

The former-prince is understood to be moving to the private Sandringham Estate, which the King forked out for out of his own private money, and Sarah has been told to figure out her own living arrangements.

Despite this, the pair is expected to stay in Royal Lodge, which Andrew paid little rent for over the two decades he lived there, until after Christmas. This is due to the lengthy process of giving up his home.

Sandringham, in Norfolk, is the venue for the traditional Christmas gathering for the royals and the delay means any potential encounter with Andrew over the festive period is avoided.

This move and scandal around Andrew has supposedly kept Andrew inside the mansion, for the last few weeks he will be there. The source added: “Andrew rarely goes out and has been padding around the lodge and ranting and muttering.”

Fergie however allegedly spends most of her time now by a purpose-built bar, behind the Windsor home, and unburdens herself to the staff. When the couple do meet for their meals, they allegedly talk about the starkly different plans the two face.

Some reports have claimed desperate Fergie could flee the UK and move abroad. A source, according to the MailOnline, claimed Sarah has “nowhere else to turn”.

They said: “She’s always rather lived on the hoof and aside from her children and grandchildren, there’s not a lot to keep her here. Put it this way, the invitations have dried up overnight.”
