Argos is offering a huge discount on Apple’s popular iPad, just beware before one.
It’s not often you see a genuinely mighty discount on Apple’s iPad but Argos is offering exactly that. The UK retailer is currently dishing out these popular tablets at a much cheaper price with shoppers dashing to claim one. “Selling fast” and “in demand” are messages that keep popping up on the Argos iPad page and it’s not surprising that Apple fans are so keen to buy one.
Right now the 10.9-inch iPad is just £379 – that’s a whopping £120 less than buying it directly from Apple. For those not in the know, this tablet features a screen with slimmed-down bezels, and a colourful design that includes Pink, Blue and Yellow plus there’s a powerful A14 Bionic chip inside which offers a silky smooth experience.
It’s fully compatible with Apple’s Pencil stylus, features a long 10-hour battery life and gets decent speakers for the nightly boxset binges.

This is clearly a cracking deal but it does come with a warning. Apple hasn’t refreshed any of its tablets in well over a year. In fact, no new devices were launched at all in 2023 which is highly unusual.
Some tech/>technology experts believe the release of all-new iPads must now be imminent with some even speculating that they could arrive this month. Although that now seems unlikely, new devices may hit stores in the spring and that means anything you buy now could look a little outdated.
If Apple does launch a new iPad range expect them to feature a refreshed design, more power under the hood, brighter screens, longer battery life and improved accessories such as better keyboard cases.
Of course, the US firm always stays super secretive about its upcoming launches and there’s no official word on a release but we’re pretty sure new tablets will arrive in 2024 and an update could be coming soon.
