The deal makes it the cheapest price in all UK supermarkets – and it will only last until this weekend

Asda shoppers have four days to take advantage of the best deal on Baileys in the UK ahead of Christmas. Shoppers could stand to save a substantial amount on the festive tipple, ideal for gifting or drinking yourself over the festive season.

Normally priced at £13.98, with no loyalty cards needed, Asda shoppers can pick up the deal for a fraction of the standard cost and get the best deal across the UK of £10 during the offer period that has been set. In Scotland, the price is still reduced from £13.98, but only to £11.05. This is due to Scottish laws surrounding alcohol pricing.

But supermarket shoppers will be given a strict rule to follow during the sale. When the offer is available, between November 27 and 30, people will be stopped at the checkout if they try to clear the shelves for themselves, as the supermarket is imposing a limit of three bottles per customer.

Bailey’s has a distinctively velvety, creamy texture with sweet notes of chocolate and vanilla. The drink has become a festive staple in many homes, despite being available all year round, as it can be found in Christmas-themed cocktails and warm drinks, allowing it to be enjoyed in various ways throughout the festive period.

Brits spent a record-breaking £14.6 billion on food and drink during the 2024 Christmas period, with household spending on groceries hitting a record high of £460 on average, according to a report by the Grocery Gazette. So taking advantage of offers and deals where possible could help reduce that bill for people in 2025.

According to Finder, people in London are planning to spend the most on Christmas festivities of all UK regions in 2025, with an estimated average of £1014 per person. They are followed by people in the North West of England, who are planning to spend £954 each, and people in Wales, who are planning to spend £910 per person.

Meanwhile, residents in the South West are hoping to be a bit more restrained with their Christmas celebrations, with an average planned spend of £556 per person, over £200 less than the national average.

What does Bailey’s cost in other supermarkets?

At the time of writing, November 26, these were the prices that other competing supermarkets were selling the festive drink for:

Marks & Spencer, Aldi, and Lidl do not sell branded Baileys. The stores do have their own versions of the Irish Cream which vary in price from £7.99 to £10.
