Amazon shoppers have been racing to snap up a seven foot artificial Christmas tree for just £54 ahead of December, with praise for how ‘beautiful’ and ‘full and thick’ it looks

Whilst it may seem plenty of people have already succumbed to putting up their Christmas trees, those who are yet to get their decorations out of the loft still have plenty of time before the big day. If you’re still in need of a Christmas tree, then Amazon shoppers may have found the perfect bargain.

The Veylin 7ft Artificial Christmas Tree was shared in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, with one bargain hunter saying: “I’m very impressed” with three tree. Although they managed to snap it up when it was £49.99, it has since gone up slightly in price to £53.99, although it’s still a bargain price compared to other options.

The Veylin 7ft Artificial Christmas Tree comes in six different options, including four, five, six and seven foot heights, as well as flocked, white, and classic green designs. The tree comes with a metal stand to keep it sturdy and stable whilst decorating, and has 1600 branches to help create that fluffy, thick appearance.

It also measures approximately 3.6 feet in width around the bottom, making it a great size and impressive feature in your room. As with any artificial Christmas tree, the secret to getting the most effective appearance is to make sure you spend a little time fluffing up and opening out each branch to prevent gaps and holes, which gives it a more high-end look.

Elsewhere, Dunelm’s 7ft Western Pine Christmas Tree is £69 and has a similar thick and fluffy appearance, with happy shoppers awarding it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Meanwhile Argos has slashed the price of the Habitat 7ft Pre lit Nordland Christmas Tree by 20%, taking it from £55 to £44, although the pictures show it looking a little sparser and thinner than the Amazon option.

According to Amazon more than 300 people have snapped up one of the Veylin 7ft Artificial Christmas Trees in the last month, and it’s gotten an impressive 4.2 star rating from happy customers who praised it for how “full and thick” the tree is, and said it’s “good value for money.”

One said: “It’s my third Christmas with that tree. What can I say? You need to fluff it up a bit, and then it looks gorgeous even without any decorations on. Easy to assemble, the height as advertised. Good value for money. Very happy with the purchase.”

Another said: “Such a beautiful tree. Really easy to set up. All you need is a bit of time and dedication and it will look fantastic.”

Whilst a third wrote: “This Christmas tree has lots of pines, was easy to fluff out, looks full and thick, great quality and sturdy, easy to assemble, served its purpose well during the festive season. Glad I returned the one I bought from Argos because it was falling over and wasn’t sturdy but the product was affordable, perfect and beautiful.”

One did say: “Feel the branches could be bushier but it’s a stand in tree till I see a better and more expensive one. Tree seems lopsided a little, even adjusting/moving the legs and main tree section around.”

Another complained about the fullness of the Veylin 7ft Artificial Christmas Tree, writing: “Looking at reviews there were loads of “customer photos” of a full tree, sadly it’s not a thing like the photos, so wasn’t to impressed but I did give us a nice laugh while setting it up. Just want to add a review for anyone thinking about getting it. Worth spending a little more if you can.”
