The BBC weather forecast is painting a wet picture for the next few days, but when the rain finally disappears it looks as though temperatures will shoot back up.

Tomorrow (July 7) there are thunderstorms forecast for around 11am with storms possibly for the rest of the day, adding to all the wet weather we have had recently. Monday (July 8) will be mostly dry but for the rest of the week we will be seeing rain throughout most of the days.

Temperatures will range from 19C to 22C and this continues on Saturday (July 13) when it is 20C with drizzle and a gentle breeze. Then on Sunday, July 14, it should look like summer has returned.

According to the BBC, temperatures will rise again to 22C and the will be sunny intervals with a gentle breeze. Monday, July 15, will be similar with temperatures predicted to be 24C highs.

On Tuesday, July 16, the sun is forecast to shine all day with temperatures up to 24C. This weather stays about for the rest of that week, with temperatures rising to 25C on Wednesday, July 17.

On July 18, it is much the same with a 25C forecast and sunny all day. On July 19 – the furthest the forecast goes at the time of writing – some clouds do return but there will be sunny intervals with temperatures falling a little to 23C.

Summer is set to return and we all will have to make the most of it.
