BBC London weather has forecast when things are set to reach 26C again after a period of rain is set to hit the capital. Londoners will be happy to hear that it won’t be too long before things start to heat up again.
Temperatures have been warm and balmy in London the last several days, reaching highs of around 26C. But things are set to drop again over the next few days to the high teens, with rain also on the way.
Today things will stay relatively sunny with temperatures of around 22C (Sunday, June 1). Tomorrow will be a gloriously sunny day with a gentle breeze with temperatures hitting 21C (Monday, June 2).
From Tuesday, rain will start to set in as well as a moderate breeze with temperatures dropping to 19C (Tuesday, June 3). The drizzly weather will continue over the next week or so.
The BBC London forecast says: “A band of heavy rain will move in on Tuesday morning, clearing eastwards in the afternoon, leaving behind sunny spells and a few scattered showers. Dry with variable cloud on Wednesday morning.
“Cloudier in the afternoon with outbreaks of showery rain, heavy in places. Breezy. Clouding over on Thursday. In the afternoon, outbreaks of heavy rain will move in from the southwest.”
However, from Tuesday, June 10, things will start to hot up – reaching 25C. Wednesday (June 11) will see similar sunny weather and temperatures of 26C.
